Star Lore

Even for star lore and mythology, this piece seems rather enigmatic, which of course is part of its appeal.

Art by Julius Diez, circa 1915

Just beautiful! May I please repost this cite the artist and hat tip you! I would like it for a piece on John Nash that I'm writing on my blog.

Oh thank you. You introduced me to a great fin de siecle artist. He is very much reflecting the illustrative style of his time, but I love the dreamy, otherworldly quality of his colours and symbolism. I looked up some of his other stuff and his work just glows. Congratulations again on your book and book funding, btw.
