Flu Facts

With a flu outbreak in 1957, Life magazine ran this double full-page spread, using Walt Kelly's warm cuddly ways to teach about little devil viruses.  It's amazing that 52 years later, most of this still applies. Boy, the flu never looked so cute.

    Fantastic discovery. My Mum had the Asian Flu in '57 when I was born and it was a scary time - far worse than this media hype!

    Walt Kelly certainly makes info more palatable than the current UK Government blurb!
