Some Beach, Some Where

Sir William Russell Flint was a painter, sometimes illustrator, of the first half of the 20th century. Much admired, but seldom reprinted these days. I'll be posting lots of Flint in weeks to come. There's some really nice work coming up.

Flint is a current influence and inspiration for me.

Flint had a great fondness, among other subjects, for Mediterranean beaches.
