Many artists have done renditions of Red Sonja over the years, but my favorites by far are by Howard Chaykin. His characterization is interesting and intense. Chaykin's panels are so well designed, with good spotting of blacks and interesting elements. Some of my favorite panels, over the years, have been by Chaykin.

I'm a regular viewer of your blog, and I'm terribly flattered, despite the fact that I wish these pieces were better.
Thanks, though.
Howard, I don't know of a case where any good artist doesn't wish his work was better. But I've certainly enjoyed and been inspired by your work over the years and I'm flattered that you tune in here.
I've lost track of your work and don't know what you're doing these days. I'll have to google.
