I grew up loving Wallace Tripp's "A Great Big Ugly Man Came Up And Tied His Horse To Me", and as I grew older and more aware of the history of illustration, fine art, comics, etc. my respect for his work grew.. now I stumble upon this, and suspect that Mr. Tripp has been a fan of one of my all-time favorite artists, George Herriman.. Tripp captured the sly, reflective dialectical poetry of Krazy Kat perfectly. Thanks for the chance to see this!
