And then there is this print of Conan, part of a 'minor edition' set, drawn by John Buscema who drew a squijillion issues of the Conan comic book. It's nice to see Buscema ink his own work.
I love John's own inks! For many years I've owned the sketch or preliminary that John used for this piece. Didn't know or remember what it was for until I saw your post. And coincidentally I have it on ebay this week.
I am a great fan of Buscema -- especially his black and white Doc Savage magazine! He was a real master of the medium.
ReplyDeleteI loved Buscema's run on Conan. He was a master.
ReplyDeleteAs for the dancing girls... bring them on!
I like the dancing girl.
ReplyDeleteWhen I read Howard, it's Buscema's Conan I see in my mind's eye, more than Frazetta's.
