Chéri Hérouard had a long and prolific history with the early xxth century French magazine La Vie Parisienne, creating cover illustrations, many of which were ribald and/or risque. Here is a gorgeous print that was also one of those covers—with a Leyendecker feel to the composition, if not the execution.
