My other favorite Mexican calendar painting by Armando Drechsler, Diosa del Fuego (Goddess of Fire) from 1952, one of my favorite years as well.

Thank you very much for saying so.

Even when I have the time (which isn't often), I would rather post non-sequential images one at a time, letting each image have the space to breathe and present it's qualities in a singular showcase. I don't always do that, say from a book, but even there I would rather do 5 at a time than the entire book.

I would like to hear more about 'the Doric way'.
