I love the young man's attitude -- the way's he's brushing Death aside, not taking his eyes off his lady love, as if Death were a mere annoyance, like a fly. It is so true for its time.

Of course nowadays if Death were to make an appearance all the young men would be jumping up and down with excitement at the thought of the imminent Zombie Apocalypse.

It's a strange world we live in.
