Entitled Luna, this is a work-up for a cover of Harpers Magazine in 1882 by Elihu Vedder, displaying some nascent Art Nouveau, well before Nouveau reached its peak with Mucha.

Annie, that's a good question, and I don't have a good answer. I've been wondering that myself and I have it on my list to check on it. It could take a while but I'm really curious about that era.
