I'm lucky enough to have about 20 issues of Startling; including both these issues. Just some wonderfully fun pulp reading & art! The 51 issue has the last Captain Future story; while the 49 features a rare Science Fiction story by John D. MacDonald.
Yeah, that angled spaceship on the first cover looks a good deal more "manly" than the chap on the second.

That was a typo on my part, I'm just so tired. But you can see on the file name for it that I knew the facts at some point.
