Warwick Goble

For the most part, they don't make children's books like they used to. They were incredibly sensual and fanciful.

I found your site while looking for photos of an actor. A beatiful image caught my eye and I had to see it closer. Thank you for this site. One of my favorite artists is Maxfield Parrish. His colors reminde me of summer afternoon light. And also Claude Monet. After looking at his paintings I first noticed there is violet in the sky.

Warwick Goble along with Harry Clarke are my all time favorites. These artists and many more are being overlooked. You're right- childrens books were very different and could fascinate adults as well.
