Yes, Walt's signature went on every anonymous artist's illustration. Some people still think that Walt did all his animating himself too (I've explained things to a few people who don't know much about animation). Disney was a genius at directing though, and his mustache was comforting and re-assuring on Sunday night tv in the 60's.

I think it's rather remarkable that there is no Disney signature on the Collier's cover.
