Autumn Interlude
The only way I can keep up with posts right now is to jump around from subject to subject, with no theme in mind. Please bear with me.
The Brothers Robinson, that family of illustrators, are phenomenal—this image from early 1900s by Charles Robinson, is entitled Autumn Interlude.

Lovely as always.
Thanks again Tom - another winner !
This is beautiful! what's it from, Thomas?
Originally, this was one of a set of illustrations that Robinson did for a book, 'The Prologue to Repentance'. This image has been reprinted several times in art magazines. This particular one is from a L'illustration periodical from the 20s.
