Holmes

Don't you feel warm and cozy watching Rathbone as Holmes?

Excellent! Before Jeremy Brett came along, Rathbone was my favorite Holmes.

That reminds me, do you happen to have any sydney Paget Holmes illustrations to share?

It's hard to find large ones on the net.

Is it really as warm and cozy with Brett as it is with Rathbone, EG? It's not just the man, it' was the times.

And yes, I have a few Pagets for the very next post, and then more on some other day. cheers!

Heh, no I wouldn't say Brett's Holmes is as warm and cozy at the Rathbone movies. It seems to me that most movies of the black and white era had a more intimate feeling and atmosphere than most movies of recent times.
