Not much to be said. One of my father's short stories was adapted to a graphic novel, published in the form of a “mass market” paperback. Niño did the cover and interior illustrations. The cover is perfectly fine; the interior illustrations are slap-dash and get increasingly crude as the story progresses. I very much doubt that the thing will ever be reprinted, though the original stories sold and continue to sell well.

My name is Thom Buchanan.
I'm an artist and photographer.
People are my favorite subjects to portray in art and photos. My wife (and studio partner) has called that my 'people skills', as I've been passionately creating portrait studies for many years.
I refer to myself as a pictorialist, a combination of image-making and journalist. Images are my life.

There was a Niño-illustrated story at Grantbridge Street and to-day there is one at Pappy's Golden Age Comics Blogzine.
I'm not a Niño fan myself, especially after he did a take-the-money-and-run job in an adaptation of a story by my father.
I'd be interested in hearing about that.
