Megalith

For the rest of December, I think I'll stick with images of the season, ones I've been saving all year.

This 1937 Fortune magazine cover is a clever pictorial pun, but is also an indictment of the capitalistic heights that the holiday has become. I was going to say prescient, but I guess in 1937, it was already a corporate megalith.

I'd love to see more vintage Fortune magazine artwork... I once went through a box full at a swap meet, and they were amazing! For some reason I didn't buy any...
