Here Come da Pagans

Yesterday it snowed. This morning, three deer passed by my new studio window, munching on tender shoots, and by afternoon the snow was gone. Spring is in full glory, and here come the pagans to make it official:

If I didn't know better, I'd think that was a James Gurney painting.

indeed! i've seen only 3, 2 were smaller works (very nice tho!) but the other was a doozie, "The Women of Amphissa" (i think i got the title right) one of his largest and most impressive pictures imo, i feel really fortunate to have seen that one!
