My name is Thom Buchanan.
I'm an artist and photographer.
People are my favorite subjects to portray in art and photos. My wife (and studio partner) has called that my 'people skills', as I've been passionately creating portrait studies for many years.
I refer to myself as a pictorialist, a combination of image-making and journalist. Images are my life.

Thanks Artman — that cover seemed to cry out for these photos to accompany it.
What a great period for architecture and culture in general.
Thanks, Thom! I never realized what this cover referred to.
Some of these NY covers can be sorta mysterious. There's still a few I haven't quite figured out.
I get dizzy just looking at those two photos, Thom. Great stuff.
Where'd that feller in the second pic flick his cigarette ashes???? That's what I hear people saying in my head.
