Check Out What You've Been Missing

Remember when Superman was a fairly light-hearted guy? I haven't seen the reboot, maybe he's a jolly old soul these days? I miss the late silver, early bronze Man of Steel.

I miss the time when ALL of our superheros (Batman included!) smiled! Wasn't all of this supposed to be fun?

When superhero comics were written primarily for the intelligent kid level, we could ALL enjoy them. When they're written primarily for adults, superhero comics just don't work for me.

Kid Robson has plenty of great stuff to say about that topic.

Thanks for the plug, Thom. I miss the days of those comics. I've got the first four volumes of MARVEL FIRSTS, and it's great to read stories from a time when they were pure entertainment. I'd highly recommend them.
