It's been quite a while since I've been here on this site. I've been really busy. I could start posting again, if I thought anyone missed having me here...
Art by Richard Doyle — An Elfin Dance in Faerie Land middlish 1800s
Your regulars of course miss you but have been following your work on KickStarter - so looking forward to the book Thom. But more posts will certainly add joy to my day!
Thanks again, you all. Norman, thank you, I'm looking forward to the book as well! I'm a little behind schedule due to communication issues with the printer, but it'll all work out, I'm sure.

My name is Thom Buchanan.
I'm an artist and photographer.
People are my favorite subjects to portray in art and photos. My wife (and studio partner) has called that my 'people skills', as I've been passionately creating portrait studies for many years.
I refer to myself as a pictorialist, a combination of image-making and journalist. Images are my life.

I have missed the posts on this blog.
Hope you can get to post more!
I just came across your blog today, which I have enjoyed the posts I have seen thus far. There's always someone out there :) to enjoy what is shared.
Of course we miss you Thom! I love this blog -- it's the first one I ever "followed."
Well, thanks you three. Really nice words to read!
I would love to see you posting again!
I agree. We want more. I probably shouldn't say this here but you would probably get a lot more traffic on Tumblr.
I'm a new follower, I follow this blog then you stop blogging.. so I'm glad you're back.
How could anyone NOT miss you, Thom?

I'm so glad to have you back, sir! Your blog is best quality except perhaps the golden age... uh... he is gone... a crying and a rident eye...
