The Fairer Human Bean

Good girl art in the world of big foot cartooning, that was a facet of Howie Post's the DropOuts. As evidenced by the previous post and this one, Howie definitely had a fondness for the fairer human bean.

Was always curious about this strip as it never appeared around here. I like it! A far cry from Post's early Walt Kelly-inspired style, though!

I've recently gotten 3 of the More Fun issues with Post's Jimminy and the Magic Book; that had him at his most Kelly-like. Very nice stuff which is sadly some of the rarest DC books you could ever try looking for. Post is really underrated.

There is some nice drawing in Anthro but I think I prefer the straight up cartooning of the Dropouts. Thanks for this - Howie Post is new to me.
