Wouldn't it be nice to have a time machine and be able to go back and speak to now deceased persons of interest when they were still alive? Who'd be your first choice, Thom?
That's a hard one,KId. There are so many. Crazy, but my first thought is Walt Kelly or Walt Disney or Walt Whitman. I'd like to be friends with any of those three. Or Marilyn Monroe.
great picture Thomas! intersting choices for your time machine escapades! i would wanna go back to the late 20's and meet Clara Bow, then go shopping for Van Gogh and Renoir originals then scoot up to the late 30's and pick me up some mint cond golden age comics for the trip home hehe
Oh yes, there are many side trips I'd like to make. I'd like to talk with my dad before he went off to war . . . And then run by the Algonquin Room. Then I'd meet you at the news stands.
Can't you just see the news stand guy telling his crony, "Them two boys jes' spent a sawbuck and got a hunnert comical books. Now why on airth would they do thet?"
We can't get too many Actions, or they'll devalue. Let's get plenty of the other comics and some of those great magazines.

My name is Thom Buchanan.
I'm an artist and photographer.
People are my favorite subjects to portray in art and photos. My wife (and studio partner) has called that my 'people skills', as I've been passionately creating portrait studies for many years.
I refer to myself as a pictorialist, a combination of image-making and journalist. Images are my life.

Dear Thom, would you allow me to borrow this picture for my next blog post about Uncle Ray?
Certainly. I look forward to seeing it.
Thanks for your kind words! Just done.
And by the way... I just noticed: thanks a lot for linking me!
