Harryhausen fueled or sparked sooooo many of my childhood summer afternoon backyard play times. It tickled ur fantasy bone!
Harryhausen and me go back a long ways, further than memory allows probably. he was the first film artist whose work i became aware of and wanted to see more of. the hands on artistry of what he did is something lost in todays CGI dominated special effects world. i love that drawing you posted! if i recall he stated it was that drawing that inspired the whole film. i love his artwork, another amazing facet to his talent.
