I hope you really enjoyed that 7-minutes of belayed teeth-grinding suspense? Until they find a green naked alien chick (or settle on some dusty old fossil), things are going to be really boring, when it starts digging-up rocks.
I guess I will check out later on Google Earth, once it becomes available (yes, you can explore Mars on it, and check out the other Rover sites).

My name is Thom Buchanan.
I'm an artist and photographer.
People are my favorite subjects to portray in art and photos. My wife (and studio partner) has called that my 'people skills', as I've been passionately creating portrait studies for many years.
I refer to myself as a pictorialist, a combination of image-making and journalist. Images are my life.

I still don't see any Tharks.
I am riding quite a high with our landing. Human's doing good work is nice to see for a change,
I watched the whole landing and the whole press conference afterward, and I was smiling the whole time. Yay for the humans!
