I think I might have this. is it from the sampler thing they did? Homage, was it? I remember, even back then, not really getting Jim Lee. he can draw, he's actually a really good draughtsman, but his design skills suck. I can't help but associate him with all the things that I dislike about modern comics and modern comics story-telling.
The dinosaur is nice. The human beings, on the other hand, are hideous. I never got Lee, I still don't get Lee, and it makes me quite sad that he now controls the DC Universe.

My name is Thom Buchanan.
I'm an artist and photographer.
People are my favorite subjects to portray in art and photos. My wife (and studio partner) has called that my 'people skills', as I've been passionately creating portrait studies for many years.
I refer to myself as a pictorialist, a combination of image-making and journalist. Images are my life.

Pops, isn't it amazing how Lee got to that position? Basically, it feels like Image Comics took over DC Comics from the inside.
